Perfectly curated for those with discerning taste this four bedroom, three bath, two living room house with a deck that stares directly at the mighty Atlantic will remind you that sometimes less is more. And this is so much more.
Originally built in 1962, this perfectly situated masterpiece was meticulously renovated in 2015 with design elements such as giant windows and doors that grace the facades of high end buildings in Soho, Poul Henningsen lighting, Finn chaises, Tucci umbrellas, Eames chairs, a Sussex credenza, Tolomeo lamp, Nathan Yong desk, Cherner bar stools, the Mr. Bones trio, and some very unique art. You may now be realizing this house is one of a kind and so are you.
On your first day, wake to the sunrise over the ocean with a fresh cup of coffee brewed in minutes. Spend the morning at the beach just steps across the dune. Come back for lunch during the mid-day heat, but make sure to enjoy a quick foot shower on your way in. Yes, a foot shower. It's delightful. Enjoy the ocean front deck lounging on chaises and drinking ice cold cocktails. Life really ain't that bad. Return to the beach for the later afternoon hours, but don't forget to come back for a quick rinse in the open air shower so you're ready to watch the sun set on the side deck. Then marvel at the light of the moon glistening on the ocean with the sound of waves crashing in the background.

Summary: This was the most beautiful rental property we have ever stayed in. The upstairs views are breathtaking -- you feel like you are in the treetops with your own private view of the ocean. It was the perfect size for our multi-generational family vacation. We also loved working with John and found him to be a terrific communicator and responive host. 10/10 recommend. We would book again in a heartbeat!

Summary: Have yet to se a place like it. John kept the old beach house foot print and updated it perfectly. Result is the cottage feel along with the modern. Also best outdoor shower on the island. Host is great, small maintenance issue when we were there (these things happen). He was all over it.

Summary: The location was great as it was close to the path to the beach. The views were wonderful for sunrises, sunsets. Would have been even better if the tree tops were trimmed a bit to give better views of the ocean. Overall, all the amnesties were good and the decor was tasteful. A comfortable, cozy cottage that’s been updated very nicely.

Summary: This is an extremely welcoming house in a great location steps from the beach. Especially at this quiet time of year on LBI (in addition to the pandemic!), being able to ensconce ourselves in this impeccably clean and tastefully furnished space was essential to our enjoyment of this trip.
