Positive: Having a view of the lake each morning was wonderful. Liked having the State Park, light hiking so near and the ability to access the shops and a good grocery market in Joseph without having to make a long drive.

Negative: Would have liked to have had directions on how to operate the sauna. We wanted to use it but didn't because we didn't want to do something that could damage it. Also we only discovered there was no bath soap when getting ready for the first morning's shower.

Summary: Would love to rent this cabin again and will recommend it to family/friends if they visit Joseph

Negative: A welcome binder would have been helpful with info. on items like: operating DVD player, (HDMI cable was not plugged in, took a little to figure that out), and operating electric stove (finally tried all thermostats and realized one was connected to the fireplace). Glad we brought extra blankets from home. Knives are very dull, had to use husbands pocketknife to cut anything. Boat dock was not in the water (my fault for booking before summer crowds). Some were down, others not. Also, construction two doors down, so if you want peacefulness, get outside about 6:30am as the crew shows up around 8am.

Summary: oveershadowed by husband missing a back deck step, ER visit,rib contusion.
