Summary: We chose this as a pet-friendly, one night stopover, after a ferry crossing, Santander to Portsmouth. Great, and quirky, little property, well-placed for the ferry port and run by a lovely lady who provides absolutely everything needed for a perfect, short stay. We wish we had discovered it earlier as it closes at the end of this year. Such a shame. We would have returned. Best wishes to our hostess. But thank you for a lovely stay and we were delighted by the local dining choices.

Summary: What a beautiful place and such a thoughtful hostess, Jean. Every consideration given in the room, even to providing a battery lamp in case of a power cut; equally for breakfast - such a variety including gluten free products available and REAL coffee! Cannot say enough about this lovely lady.

Summary: Lovely B & B in quiet grounds. Very clean room with comfortable bed and all the amenities required for a short stay. Jean made us feel very welcome and obviously works very hard to ensure her guests enjoy their stay.

Summary: Property is set back away from the road with trees and garden, very quiet , and relaxing . Jean is a lovely lady making us very welcome, plenty of knowledge of the local area. Room was very comfortable, patio tables outside to be able to sit and chill. We had a lovely breakfast in the granary chatting to Jean a lovely friendly lady. Would recommend .
