Positive: The location was great and easy to find.

Negative: There was no A/C in rooms or in house. Did become quite warm in the rooms in the mornings even with the fans on.

Positive: The location is great. The unit is large.

Negative: Floors were sandy with cockroaches when we arrived, dishes were dirty. The owners put pressure on us as guests to clean the place even though there are paid cleaners and yet there is a 20 year old broom and no vacuum. Didn’t even have a cutting board in the kitchen. Not until you pay the money do you get the fine print that linen isn’t provided which I find unacceptable and was charged a surcharge on top of stated price. Bond was charged instead of just taking a credit card and the bond wasn’t refunded in a timely fashion. The place needs a freshen up telly and some new cleaning equipment if guests are expected to “leave it as clean as the sound it”(not clean)

Summary: Needs new kitchen supplies and linen to be factored into the price and a vacuum would help with sandy floors.

Positive: The location was fantastic. Pool table was a big hit with the kids. TV area was also nice.

Negative: For 8 people, two bathrooms would be better, or at least a separate toilet from the bathroom. Also some pantry cupboards in the kitchen would be helpful.

Positive: Location is quite nice if you intend to stay mainly in the northern part of the island. However, quite far from the usual/common tourist attractions. Enjoyed the quiet community setting with minimal traffic. Discovered the breath-taking Wathumba Creek--perfect for fishing, exploring, swimming and chilling in the water on a floater. :-) The apartment was very spacious and had good lighting and water pressure. Gas stove and deep freezer came in handy.

Negative: Obviously, having A/C would be awesome but do understand if power/electricity is prohibitive... Small things could make the stay much better i.e., dining table place mats, pot holders, additional tea & dish drying towels. Bathroom floor towels would also be handy.
