Positive: Stylish and spotlessly clean, everything we needed had been thought of. We were able to relax and enjoy the view of the flower border from the patio door with the peacefulness of ancient trees beyond. Even though the kitchen area was tiny, it had everything you need. We enjoyed catch up on the TV. Wivelscombe itself was surprisingly charming and the townspeople were friendly. Our hosts were friendly but not intrusive.

Negative: There was nothing not to like, but useful points are that local roads are narrow and windy, so you need to make the satnav look for the B roads, there is a sloping driveway which we reversed out of (but no traffic at the gateway). It was ideal for my reduced mobility, but the low step up to the door may have troubled some people and I should have thought to have brought my toilet seat height extender.
