Summary: Our second stay at the White Hart, this time with two other couples. A very characterful old hotel in a nice little town, convenient for exploring north west Somerset or into Devon. Being an old building there are some quite steep stairs and no lift but this did not cause us any issues. Breakfast was a good cold buffet. At the time we visited there was no chef (last time we had dinner at the hotel) but we all had dinner all three nights at the Bear Inn over the road (good food, wide menu, its own Black Bear brewery, tables reservable). A couple of other restaurants in Wiveliscombe appeared on the internet but had closed. Old building but kept clean. Appreciated tea and coffee making supplies being topped up. Dog friendly.

Summary: Really helpful friendly staff. Clean room ensuit with TV coffee etc. Extensive continental breakfast with service. Wide choice fresh delicious food for breakfast. Very dog friendly with happy relaxed atmosphere and friendly. Local bar with full range of beers wines and spirits at reasonable prices. Parking free on site.

Summary: Only used the white heart as a base did not eat or drink there so cannot comment on that, room was clean and comfortable enough, just what I wanted

Summary: Lovely Inn style rooms with very good food. Be mindful that the stairs are quite steep and may not suit some.

Summary: Warm welcome, comfortable room with tea making facilities & toiletries in the en suite. Good spread for continental breakfast. A good place to stay, will visit again.

Summary: Heating in room intermittent so very cold, bathroom electric radiator broken so room very cold, room very tired in need of re-decoration and make over. Room not made up. Pub staff very nice
