Positive: Perfect location for where we needed to be ! Lovely and quiet ,Beth very helpful, we was a tad chilly one evening (but was very cold outside ) and she bought us extra heaters which was great 👍.,we extended several times from 3 to 6 nights in the end. Plenty of space, 2 great bathrooms and 2 x lovely bedrooms. Easy to find,easy parking...heavenly quiet and was perfect for what we needed and so 100 % be using again when we visit family in the area,was also a lovely butchers and farm shop up the lane (5 mins in car) Its heaven to escape to switch off away from the world with a book and listening the birds and watching the horses in the nearby fields ....we felt very at home...

Negative: Didn't like leaving ,that was the main downside! We always cook when homestays so an extra serving style dish/es /bigger bowls etc would have been great but we know if we had shouted out for one then Beth would have accommodated us....saying that I still managed to cook a sunday lunch ....and certainly we be back....would be amazing when warmer to sit outside around the fire pit and have a BBQ ( and a hot tub lol )

Positive: This is property is an absolute gem. The Barn has been converted to a high standard with modern facilities throughout. Extremely user friendly and creative furnishing throughout. Bedrooms are located on lower level both with en-suite which was handy for a family of four and kitchen level also has a separate W.C. Open plan dining with a wonderful view. Underfloor heating keeps the property warm all throughout the day. Will be back.

Negative: Temperature for shower was a touch low for us.

Summary: High level Barn conversion with all the facilities and close proximity to the great outdoors

Positive: We had a fantastic stay at Orchard Barn. The location was perfect for visiting our family in Sheffield while offering a peaceful rural retreat. It was a challenge to find accommodation for two adults, two kids, and three cockapoos, but this property was ideal. The barn is beautifully refurbished to a high standard, with a stunning colour palette and a welcoming atmosphere. We loved the unique layout, especially heading downstairs to the bedrooms. Both rooms had en-suites, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the space was more than sufficient for our family.

Positive: It was absolutely spotless and faultless. Lovely hosts and beautiful country side. We loved the book that has photos of how they converted it. We couldn’t believe how it went from a barn to the beauty it is now .

Positive: Beth is a great host, communication was excellent.The property was lovely, warm and cosy and decorated to a high standard, we could not fault anything. It was in a location close to where we wanted to be to visit relatives. The Christmas tree was a lovely unexpected surprise, thank you Beth, much appreciated. Also thank you for the wine and the eggs - they were lovely and so fresh!

Negative: Only down side was we couldn't stay longer but hope to be back soon when next visiting our relatives.
