Negative: That the braai was outside, an indoor braai would be nice for the colder days.

Positive: The fact that Adele, who received us, was very warm and welcoming when meeting us when we arrived. We had our own privacy. If we needed any info or recommendations, she was ready to assist or help out where she could. All washing facilities were above standard and very convenient for our stay.

Negative: I was not able to stay longer.

Positive: Oppi Kus is right across from the sea with a lovely view. It is clean, neat and tastefully decorated. The beds are very comfortable and swimming towels are even provided. There is full Dstv. The SuperSpar is a few minutes drive away yet Oppi Kus is away from the hustle and bustle being on the coastal road. Beautiful sunsets. Adele was very accommodating and always readily available.

Summary: Panoramic view from the outside braai area, well equipped and highly recommended.

Positive: The very friendly hosts have renovated this property to the highest standard and quality. From a well-equipped kitchen with excellent appliances to top-notch bedding and furnishings, there can be no complaints about the property or its owners! We arrived just 30 minutes after making the online booking, and were welcomed by the owners, even though they had not yet realised that they had a new booking, well done! Also, note the many original paintings through the property.

Negative: Absolutely nothing!

Summary: You will not be disappointed by this property, excellent facilities and value for money.

Positive: Our hosts Adele and Chris were excellent, very accommodating. Location is great, fantastic views! Unit has everything you need. Beds comfortable. Central. close to the beach for walks, fairly close to the harbor, shops, restaurants.

Negative: Bedrooms need bathrooms on suite for that price.

Positive: It is a lovely 3 bedroom (walkout-basement) apartment along the beachfront with stunning views of the bay and especially memorable sunsets. The apartment was ideal for our family of four, and the full kitchen allowed for self-catering. The property also caters to outdoor dining with sufficient space for a wood-burning braai. Outdoor chairs also allow for staring out across the ocean and identifying large cargo ships and cruise liners crossing the ocean. Although we didn't make use of it, Gaansbaai is a prominent Shark Cage Diving location. The house is close to the tidal pools and the must-see Klipgat Caves. The owners (Chris and Adele) reside on the property and have fantastic knowledge of the area. They are exceptionally outgoing and were attentive to our inquiries and requests. They also provided secure parking on the property.

Negative: Our only disappointment was that we didn't plan to stay longer and experience the shark cage diving that Gaansbaai is renowned for!
