Positive: It was in close proximity to where we needed, however it is in a secluded location which may not appeal to some people.

Negative: The onsite contact was unaware of our booking and as a consequence the rooms and living area etc were not made up. We had to return several hours later to move in, although an offer was made to stay whilst clean up occurred which was not ideal. After we moved in it was discovered that main bins in the kitchen had not been emptied and the floors and bathrooms had only received a cursory once over, which for a cottage costing $500 per night is less than satisfactory.

Summary: Requires improvement before I'd stay again.

Positive: Beautiful gardens, amazing feeling of space, huge pergola area, we had our border collie dog with us & he could just roam free in beautiful yard. Great kitchen, lounge & bathroom facilities. Very clean. Loved it!

Negative: The bed was only a double - would have liked a queen bed for a couple.

Positive: An absolutely gorgeous location. The cottage is cosy and decorated beautifully. The gardens and outlook are divine. Extremely picturesque and peaceful. It felt like being a million miles away even though we were just outside of Sydney. My kids adored playing in the field, in the yard with the autumn leaves and using the fire pit to roast marshmallows. We also appreciated the fresh bread and home made jams for breakfast.

Negative: We would have loved a guest guide book on how to operate facilities such as Wi-Fi /TV etc and an easy way to communicate with our host rather than knocking on their door when we had a question. They were very friendly, but we didn't know wether we were intruding. Reception is hit and miss so be prepared for that if you need to work. The place was mostly clean apart from a few cobwebs and debris in the bathtub which I washed out before use.

Positive: What an exquisite experience. From the moment we drove up the driveway to the vision of the doors open waiting to welcome us in, the property was so much more than just a bed to sleep in for the night. The garden, the breakfast, the artwork, the space, was beyond our wildest dreams and having a delightful impromptu chat in the garden with Grada made our stay.

Negative: That we had to leave. :-)
