County and State parks are great for hiking and bird-watching! This cozy country home features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, along with an open floor plan and big screened-in back porch, which showcases spectacular sunset views. With a large yard, fire pit, hammock and grill, this vacation rental is ideal for nightly barbecues, or simply soaking in the sunshine after a fun-filled day at the Sebring racetrack or a day on the lake.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this lovely lakehouse home! The home was spacious but very cozy with comfortable beds and also very clean with rustic decor. The view of the lake was so beautiful, it has such a peaceful setting. Perfect place to stay and relax or take a hike at beautiful Highland Hammock State Pk! Look forward to staying again.

Summary: Came from Sarasota for a girls weekend getaway. What an amazing place to go relax, unplug and be in nature. House was clean and has all the comforts of home. It was perfect! All we needed was food everything else was provided. what a great weekend getaway. I would highly recommend this property.

Summary: Had a wonderful three day weekend on the lake. The property is beautiful and rustic right on the canal. Enjoyed sitting on the lanai every morning drinking cocoa and hearing the birds chatter. The house is spacious, immaculately clean and inviting. Full kitchen with cookware if you want to stay in and cook. The host left a lovely welcome basket and a binder with activities nearby. We hiked the trails at Highlands Hammock State park, did the tram tour and enjoyed a concert in the evening. Beautiful old Florida nature all around and amazing views of the lake. If you need to unplug and relax, this is the place!
