Summary: Our double Queen deluxe room was very charming with cheery country curtains high crown molding ceilings and partial Mountain View’s. It was bright and spacious corner room with great temperature control and a ceiling fan. The beds were very comfortable & the pillows were a lovely lofty down. The desk had a clock with a USB outlet which was convenient for us! The spa was really very nice! The spa tub and outdoor seating area was set among a garden and was very pretty. The RiverBed & North Light treatments were excellent! The showers could use a little upgrade. The spa pool area could use a couple more loungers.

Summary: The property is beautiful. It was chilly so use of the amenities outdoors was limited. The indoor pool and hot tub floor are old and discolored making them unattractive to the eye.they could use to be resurfaced. The shops have limited hours as well as restaurants. And we would have liked to see entertainment in the cave or elsewhere in the venue every night. It was a bit boring in the evening. It was nice around the fire but limited seating for such a large hotel. Our room could have been dusted better and the bed skirt even around the bed. Other than those few things the staff is wonderful, views lovely, ground and hotel are beautiful. Food is very good.

Summary: My 2 nights were fabulous, apart from the fire alarm going off at 1:15 AM - it’s a wooden structure folk, don’t try to have a sneaky smoke without anyone noticing! No-one wants to be standing in the parking lot in the middle of the night but apparently my experience is not that unusual. However, if your room is the presidential wing you should not have to evacuate. The hotel has a cruise ship vibe in terms of service and luxury. Very enjoyable.

Summary: Lovely anniversary stay! Champagne waiting for us in the room. We stayed in presidential wing with a view of mt. washington-wonderful, spacious and comfortable, though we did miss the creaky floors of the old hotel rooms. Staff were great, friendly and accommodating. Such a beautiful place.

Summary: Upon check-out there was a $48.83 resort service charge which we knew nothing about until then. They said it as because we booked through Expedia. This was a rather unpleasant surprise. Had this not occurred we would have given this stay an overall 5 star rating.
