Summary: The property was much smaller than I expected. I figured a school yard would have some room to wander nearby, but not the case ... very fenced in. The room was also quite small with no wardrobe or storage space, and no luggage racks provided. The property typically is not manned except during breakfast, so there was also no one we could ask. The breakfast was outstanding, the bed was quite comfortable, and the bath area was well designed. The area and the B&B are quiet, and the location is central making it easy to reach both the west and south coasts.

Summary: Lovely stay at The Old School B&B. Hosts were welcoming and the facilities were excellent. We were delighted to find out more about the eco and sustainable technology at the B&B. The breakfast was delicious. I’m sure we will visit again.

Summary: I have stayed at the Old School Bed and Breakfast twice now, both times in room 3. The room looked and smelled freshly decorated, everything was very clean. On arrival I collected my key from the lock box, which had a note from the owner Jayne asking me to send her a text message to let her know what time I'd like breakfast in the morning. The B&B is very quiet and the internet speed on the wifi is fast, so it's very easy to settle in and relax. In the morning Jayne had a table ready for me and served a piping hot cooked breakfast, along with tea/coffee and a selection of cereals, should you want them. Everything you need for a quiet place to rest your head.

Summary: Our 3 day stay at the end of August was fantastic. Self check-in was easy and Room 1 we stayed in was perfect. It was spotlessly clean with everything that you needed including a patio area which was a sun trap. Jane did a great job of maintaining cleanliness, cooking a tasty breakfast and also taking the time out to give some local recommendations. Well situated for a 30 minute drive to the coast including New Quay and Cardigan Bay. Can't wait until the next time!!

Summary: Jayne and Ian treat you like friends the moment you arrive. Both are lovelly people and, quite rightly, Ian is proud of what he has done with the place and is happy to share this with you. To say they won Four in a Bed I didn't expect to find a hair underneath the mattress and dust behind the dresser, just kidding it was spotless.The property is totally refurbed, free parking on paved forecourt was great and knowing I was arriving by motorcycle Ian even prepared under cover parking for me. My room was clean, the Wi Fi great, the shower fantastic, lashings of complimentary tea and coffe and milk in room, with excellent lighting. The mattress was a bit soft for my back but hey ho. The breakfast was good quality and ample, I gave the cereals and potatos a miss. Now call me a meanie or a greedy guts but if theres one thing that is better than one sausage and one rasher of bacon at breakfast then its two sausages and two rashers of bacon. I quite like mushrooms and tomatos on my full English but not on my stay unfortunately. Overall great place.
