Positive: We loved our stay at Ohana. The host was really kind en helped whenever needed. Comfortable beds, parking space for the car and a laundry machine!

Negative: The breakfast is quite small, so if you are hungry in the morning make sure you buy some extra groceries!

Positive: The host is super friendly and always smiling. The room is spacious and equipped with all the essential utilities. Room is warm with heater and comfy bed. There is a washing machine and you can hang the clothes at balcony. Not closed to shops or restaurants, better have a car. But it is a great location to other nearby sight seeing places like Mt Aso or Takachiho Gorge. Just a little note there is no TV in the room, not a big deal but would be great to have one. Thanks and will definitely stay again when visiting Aso.

Positive: We loved the friendly hosts and their super adorable dogs! The room was comfortable and value for money. We drove to the recommended onsen nearby and had a relaxing time and dinner there. They even made breakfast for us the next morning. Will return if we have the chance to revisit in the future.

Positive: Friendly host who delivered coffee and buns to our door on freezing mornings.

Negative: The building is old and very cold during the winter weather. The toilet did not have a heated toilet seat (which has been standard everywhere else).

Positive: There will always be things to remember about each location during travels. The Beautiful Aso Volcano area and the kindness of the Ohana (family) will be what I remember about Kumamoto. It’s the people that you meet along the way that make places special. This place is special.
