Positive: We felt so comfortable and cosy in this beautiful secluded home. Tucked away in the bush with magnificent views, we loved everything about our stay. Our host Aara was friendly, helpful, and communicative. Access instructions to the house were clear and simple. The bed was very comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and plenty of fire wood supplied for our stay. Of Stone and Wood has been thoughtfully and lovingly decorated to make for a very comfortable stay. We loved our time here and hope to come back again soon. Thank you for sharing your special property with us, we felt extremely grateful to have found you.

Positive: Stone & Wood was a great place for two couples to base ourselves while we explored the eastern end of Kangaroo Island. Very well appointed spacious house with amazing views that we loved coming home to after a day of exploring. Aara (host) was helpful and responsive to any queries we had. Would love to stay there again one day.

Positive: Beautiful view of sunrise each morning over the river. Very peaceful and lots of wildlife.

Negative: It was very hot unfortunately with no air conditioning, limited curtains to block the sun and minimal air flow without letting lots of flies in. When we arrived cleaning staff were running late so we went to the beach. When we returned it appeared the staff had rushed as the house had many flies, towels were wet on the clothes horse and cleaning clothes/old soap were left by the cleaners in the bathroom. None of this was terrible but it wasn’t the stay I was anticipating for our honeymoon.
