Summary: We loved the space! It was exactly as listed. We ended up not using the smaller space because there was no AC and the windows don't open but we enjoyed the main house. The owners clearly put a lot of thought into the amenities and we found it well stocked.

Summary: Our stay was fabulous! Val and Jim are spot on hosts and will help you with whatever you may need. The home is perfect for a family that is ok with close quarters. All of the beds (in the home) are in ‘mostly’ the same space upstairs. The one room that could be ‘private’ needs to have the door open due to temperature and no air conditioning in the room. However, we were traveling in July. Most likely other times of the year that room would be perfect for some privacy. I will say the beds are not super comfy however everything else was clean, we were well provided for and if we needed anything Val sent Jim right over and he took care of anything that needed attention. I highly recommend this home for a small family, a close group of friends that are ok with close quarters or just a space for a beautiful respite. The beach area is fabulous for a quick ‘cold plunge’ in the ocean. You can jump off the pier at high tide and swim back to shore! It’s an experience. The local Town Landing Market is such a great spot. The employees are kind and they carry the BEST blueberries and a lovely wine selection. I LOVE THIS AREA and HOME, AND WILL BE BACK.

It’s also centrally located so it was ideal home base for our Portland and sailing adventures.The owner, Val, was a delight.
