Some of the region’s most popular surf breaks are within easy reach – including one just steps from our condo beach gate. When you tire of the sand, you can relax in our oceanfront hot tub or infinity pool.
This oceanfront unit has been completely remodeled with high-end appliances and decor. There are 2 King bedrooms with en suite bathrooms as well as a separate media room with 60” TV that includes a third bathroom. Each room is equipped with air conditioning units, dimmable lighting and remote operated shades.
As you enter your home away from home, you are welcomed by the bright blue sea where you can see for miles through your sliding glass door that enables easy indoor and outdoor living. The great room includes a gourmet kitchen with large quartz island with bar stools, a custom wood dining table for 8 and living space to enjoy each other - and your unobstructed view of the Bay of Banderas. Move to the deck and relax in your lounge chairs serenaded by the waves or dine alfresco at the extension table that seats 8. From here watch the surfers, beach life or the daily unscheduled shows put on by our resident whales, including the newborn calves (Nov-March). You are just a short walk to the quaint town of Punta de Mita where you have access to world-class beachfront restaurants and local shops.

Getting here: We are approximately an hour away from Puerto Vallarta International airport. Transportation can be arranged or you can take a local taxi or Uber directly to your unit.
Activities. All water sports are available within walking distance - from surfing, paddleboarding, snorkeling, fishing and even scuba diving or spear fishing! A visit to Las Marieta Islands National Park never disappoints.
Nearby destinations: Sayulita (~25 minutes; 17.7 km/10.6 miles), La Cruz de Huanacaxtle (~20 minutes; 17.5 km/10.5 miles)
Housekeeping. Guests will have daily light housekeeping services. Laundry room available for those staying 1 week or more.
Disclosures: 1) There is a Ring doorbell at the condo entrance. This is the only video recording device on the premises for security purposes. 2) There is periodic construction work in nearby complexes that may occur daily or not at all. When it occurs it is only during daylight hours.

Summary: This was our second visit to Punta Mita. Our trip was terrific. Dawn is so incredibly helpful to work with. She has a concierge service that will help plan anything you want. They were very receptive. We had a lovely woman come every day to do light housekeeping (we stayed for 8 nights). Dawn's home was fabulous. The location is amazing. The home is just so calming, beautiful and has everything you could ask for. We made use of the pool/jacuzzi almost every day. We used her boogie boards as well. The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen is a cook's dream (although we really ate out most meals). The patio was terrific for sitting and reading, having a glass of wine and watching the sun go down. We made use of her tic-tac-toe game on the coffee table. We had breakfast one morning at the Four Seasons, which was delicious and quite extravagant, and $$$. Naef was one of our favorite restaurants. Right at the end of the block is a churro cart, and the owner is adorable. We went almost every night. We also enjoyed La Rustica restaurant. We checked out La Lancha beach for surfing. It's about a 15 minute drive from Dawn's home. To get to the beach, you park across the street at a cute shopping center (had lunch at Makai - YUM) and then walk across street and walk about 15 minutes through a jungle with planks to cross water. It was fantastic. People either love Sayulita or find it too busy and touristy. I really like it. We spent a day there. Overall our trip was great.

Summary: This is a luxurious condo the photos do not do it justice. The owners provide a detailed manual with everything you will need and more. The daily housekeeping service was such a bonus. Upon arrival we had complimentary guacamole and chips. We were able to preorder groceries and our fridge was stocked upon arrival. The town is a few minutes walk where you can go to dinner shop get a coffee etc. If you are not interested in staying in the gated community this is the best place to stay and with the kindest host. I will recommend this condo to all my friends.

Summary: Casa Aurora was perfect! Everything we imagined, and more! The owners were involved from the very beginning, helping us plan excursions and make restaurant reservations. The information they provided in their guide was spot on, and we had a fully planned itinerary on arrival. The condo was spacious, clean, and nicely furnished with many thoughtful details, including beach bags and chairs, slippers, and even homemade guacamole upon arrival! We will definitely be back for another vacation in Paradise!

Summary: Beautiful rental on one of the nicest properties in punta de mita. This specific unit is luxurious. The mattresses are plush, the furniture is high end, and the kitchen appliances are top of the line (Wolf). It is located a short 5 minute walk to the main tourist strip in town. For more authentic local cuisine, just walk 1-5 blocks in the neighborhood for tacos, tortillas, coffee. Walk out directly onto the beach from the property and surf out front (if there is a swell). Although note, the beach isn't too sandy, similar to most of the area. The host, Dawn, was extremely accommodating, responsive, and an all around pleasure. Daily light housekeeping was a huge plus and not something you typically experience with VRBO. Fabulous experience all around.

Summary: This updated and modern unit is spacious and clean. Cannot beat the beautiful oceanview as well of the pool and beach. Possibly some of the best sunsets we have ever seen. We stayed with our teen kiddos (3) and had more than enough room with our oldest sleeping happily in the media room. The sweetest lady Yadira comes daily to clean and help with any questions which is so lovely. There are strict rules for the teens as far as hot tub/pool use and noise levels but did not impact the trip at all. Walking to town/stores/restaurants if easy (on the beach). We did not rent a car and did not feel like we needed it (though we never left Punta de Mita). Surfers - can walk right outside of the condo and few steps to the right and hit the water. Perfect. We will be back.

Summary: Stunning coastline views, awe-inspiring sunrises and the soothing sounds of the ocean's waves make this a very special place to experience. The thoughtfully-curated interior design - contemporary, natural and beachy - boasts a spacious, light-filled layout with direct access to the wonderful town, which offers a delightful array of amazing restaurants, beaches and ocean activities. Relaxing on the balcony watching sealife and surfers - and cooling off in the infinity-edge beachfront pool was definitely a highlight. We loved seeing a few whales breach in the distance and enjoyed our daily challenge to spot the iguanas who live in the beach tree. The owner's communication was by far the best and most attentive we've ever experienced - they shared their love for Punta de Mita with us and it therefore made it an even more special experience with their advice and recommendations. We look forward to visiting again and discovering more of this hidden gem!
