An incredible 180-degree view of the Pacific Ocean awaits - one that you'll enjoy from the entire great room, both bedrooms, the hot tub, and the expansive deck of this oceanfront home just south of Newport. Whether you're a whale-watcher, storm-watcher, or beach-goer, you'll never forget your time spent here.
Enter into the open great room and be greeted by a back wall of windows framing the ocean and the beach below. It's a bright and lofty space with a living room on one side, offering a sectional, a pair of comfortable armchairs, and a cable TV to show nightly movies. To the other side of the room are the dining space and the kitchen, with the latter providing all-stainless steel appliances, a Keurig to make your mornings brighter, and a semi-circular island with bar stools for three.
But the real focal point is the view, best taken in from the oceanfront deck. Running the length of the house, the deck includes a private hot tub, a gas grill, and a table for six to host alfresco meals after days spent out on the sand. At night, you'll find a TV and an ocean view in each bedroom. Additional amenities include free WiFi and a washer/dryer for your use.

Summary: This is a beautiful home that is sitting on a bluff overlooking the ocean. There is access to the beach across the street; but it is a little tricky for someone who may have limited mobility. There is a BBQ on the awesome deck, but due to weather we weren’t able to take advantage of it. Restaurants are a short drive away. The only downfall that we would say is the beds are very firm. So that was an issue for our party of people. We stayed 3 nights and that was the max that my back could take. This is why we gave it four stars.

Summary: Enjoyed the incredible view, great hot tub and the layout of the house. There are several things that the owner needs to upgrade though-particularly considering the cost. Very poor glassware, beds are too firm, BBQ need replaced, screen doors are so rusted they are difficult to close. Overall it’s a beautiful home with a great deck looking right down on the ocean. It’s the second time we’ve been there but not sure if we’d return with the cost going much higher.

Summary: Nice property is nice. Thanks to the owners for puting it out there for rent. The proximity to Newport / Waldport is very handy. Just a few minutes to groceries or whatever you need. Also close to good fishing and crabbing. Very comfortable bed in the master bedroom.

Summary: This home did not feel like a rental - it felt like staying in the personal residence of people who care about the warmth, decor, cleanliness and comfort of their home. By far the best home rental I have experienced in my 30+ years of renting vacation homes. We loved everything about this home.

Summary: The house is spacious, well appointed, has an amazing view, and there are fun things to do in the garage. The path to the beach is easily navigated and there are few people on the beach - even in the middle of summer busy season. Sunsets from the hot tub on the deck are highly recommended.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay! The property is newly renovated and the kitchen and bathrooms were stunning. There is a no shoes property that we struggled with a bit going in and out the back door. The floor is warped in areas but it’s new wood or laminate probably on an old surface. The outdoors was beautiful as well with new table and chairs but some were zip tied to the deck so we couldn’t move them. There is no ac so it gets warm on sunny days in the afternoon. Downsides: glassware is mismatched and not enough for several people. We could only find one cutting board and the drawer arrangements don’t make a lot of sense. We were out of propane for the grill but they brought us some within two hours of contacting Vacasa. Also we had an issue with one of the smoke alarms which they fixed. The floor is a bit slippery in socks - especially the stairs. Also, we found aome fruit snacks in the crevice of one of the beds and the powder bath wasn’t mopped. The towels were cheap and small for adults. 10 am is a really early check out time.
