Only a few small steps from the ocean water this custom home is located on the Island of Bastimentos, Bocas del Toro, Panama. Amazing views! The entire front of the house is rotating glass doors allowing you to scope out the surf breaks while enjoying your meals. Rainwater collection, hot water, open floor plan, sleeps 6 and children are welcome (2 queen beds, 2 singles (bunkbeds), and hammocks to rest in!). Large natural stone bathroom with dual shower heads. Caretaker on site for all inquires.

Summary: Overall, we had a great stay. Great breeze off the ocean. Bombi was a great caretaker and arranged for anything we needed. Especially helpful arranging our trip back to Panama City. I slipped on the steps down to the deck the day before our departure and broke my leg. We had taxis waiting for us the whole way. Even got several of the island men to carry me down to dock to water taxi. Be aware that wood get very saturated when it rains and have moss on them so very slick! We would definitely go back to this friendly island and to shorebreak house.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at your place! Bombi was amazing! He made us feel safe and secure. He knows everybody on the the island and what ever we needed he made it happen. Summary: Great amenities. There is a guitar, bass, and ukulele in the house. The kitchen is stocked pretty well... we cooked most of our meals. The house has a stand up paddle board that we took out every morning. Great location close to town but still secluded on beach. It is situated nicely facing the ocean with a steady breeze. We could've stayed for months and still not seen everything.

Summary: My boyfriend and I just spend two weeks on the Island of Bastimentos. For the second week we rented the Shore Break House! I am so so glad we did. The house is perfect! Sleeping at night hearing the waves crash, having access the beautiful views of the ocean and being a short boat ride away from Bocas was exactly what we wanted. Bomby was so wonderful and very helpful. He joined us a couple nights when we cooked dinner. The town of Bastimentos is a special places. I loved watching the island come alive as you walk down the side walks. I recommend this place to anyone who does not want to be right in the action of Bocas but close enough to experience it and then leave at night or anyone who loves to cook! We cooked out on their grill almost every night. They also have a wonderfully equipped kitchen. It was wonderful to buy super fresh seafood and cook it immediately. Great place and I hope to return!

Summary: Three of my best girlfriends and myself rented this house for a week. We had the best time ever, based on the reviews, we went to the 99 Supermarket in Panama City before we boarded our flight and bought tons of alcohol, food, and candles to bring to the house. We met Bombi once we arrived on the island and a man with a wheelbarrow took all of our luggage to the house for us. Once we ascended the stairs to the top deck of the house, the true fun began!!!! Crazy ocean views from every part of the house, Bob Marley playing on the stereo, the most comfortable beds we had since back home, a full kitchen with everything you needed!!!! The bathroom is awesome, a rock shower with dual shower heads and hot hot water all the time. The owners were available via phone and text to help me with anything I needed!!! The house is close to everything and we found ourselves making quick trips to the restaurants Caribbean View and Roots all the time!!!! Bombi was able to get us reservations at the Firefly for our last night and we had a great dinner. Everyone on the islands knows of the Shorebreak House and it is probably the best constructed house on the island!!!!!!!

Summary: We travelled to the Island for our Honeymoon, This place was exceptional! The pictures really do not do this home or location justice. It is a real gem on the perfect location of the Island. (I will touch on this later) Upon arrival to the island we met Bombi, Bombi was great!! He led us on a quick walk to the location and gave us a great introduction to the home, ensured we knew where everything was located, how everything worked. Bombi really made us feel welcome and comfortable after a long few days of travelling. The home is very well kept and clean. You can tell the care and attention to detail this home has received in no doubtingly an environment that can be harsh and require significant upkeep. The home contained everything one could need to enjoy your stay. We found ourselves cooking regularly for ourselves and the kitchen was well equipped and clean. The bedroom was quite comfortable, the fans made even the most muggy and warm evening a non issue, the bathroom was very nicely decorated and clean. As this was our first time to the region we feel very fortunate to have found such a great locations. We were prepared for the bugs to be an issue, however the location of this home allows a breeze to limit the bug and provide relief from the heat, other area do not provide this. The glass doors were opened almost every evening while enjoying the cool breeze and sound of the waves. We both also loved the location and Island for its "traditional feel" Don't get me wrong "Bocas Town" need to be explored and is alot of fun, however we found it overwhelming some evening and really looked forward to getting back and just enjoying some relaxation on the deck. Another gem is the food. Just a small walk to the right is The Firefly. Hand down probably some of the best food I have experienced anywhere. Ryan and Lauren are a great team, we spent several evenings relaxing and chatting at The Firefly. On one of our last evening Lauren prepared a freshly caught red snapper and we are still raving about this meal. Truly a special place that need to be visited. We really enjoyed our stay on the island, Your place is perfectly located, and we feel very fortunate to have found this location. Too all future guest, enjoy this home, get to know the people (very interesting stories and unique people who have left the island and come home), explore the islands. We enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to returning.

Summary: This is a fantastic place to stay. The house is spacious, beautiful and set on the most untouched islands in Bocas. Its kind of out-of-the-way but thats what makes it such a great place stay. It is just down the path from a fantastic restaurant. The house provides an incredible launching pad to all that the islands have to offer. 2 minutes from Caranero, 5 mins from Bocas by boat. The hammocks throughout the house are super relaxing, especially because the house funnels the Caribbean breezes to keep the place cool. The bathroom is fixed with modern amenities and the beds are all comfortable. This is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. If there was one complaint it would be the lack of privacy. The rooms don't have a door to close except the bathroom. But the communally oriented will love this house; perfect for a group of friends. If you're lucky enough to stay there go for a paddleboard during the day but don't forget to stare at the stars from the deck at night!
