Positive: Our room was on the top floor of the Ocean View Guesthouse. A large room with three beds, a small table and three chairs. There was a bathroom on the top floor, but a sign said you had to go downstairs to shower. Luckily it wasn't full, so there was no queue for the shower. Large and well-equipped kitchen with room for many. There was space to park along the street.

Negative: Not much of an "Ocean View" from our windows... Unpleasant atmosphere with various signs about what you were not allowed to do or what do. No very clean in general. Garbage sorting is important, but maybe you should label the different containers so that you know what to throw in which container. Don't leave windows open at night! Like most houses on Iceland this did not have ventilation so we left the window open to get cool, fresh air into the room. I was attacked by midget/gnats, could barely sleep all night trying to fight them off and woke up with about 100 bites on my hands and arms.

Summary: Not one of my best bookings

Positive: This was the best bed I've slept on in two weeks. I wish all beds in Iceland were this comfortable.
