This apartment has been awarded a gold accolade by the States of Guernsey tourism. It has gorgeous sea views and is located on the west coast, famous for the most breath-taking sunsets.

It is an immaculate one double bedroom apartment , lounge, kitchenette, bathroom and lobby with a private entrance.

The apartment is situated directly across from the gorgeous Saline bay (Grandes Rocques beach) with Cobo beach to the left and Port Soif beach to the right all within a few minutes walk of the apartment. These are 3 of the most beautiful beaches on the island on your doorstep.

You can watch the infamous sunsets while having your evening meal in your apartment or have a lovely picnic on the beach, whatever you chose this part of the island has everything.

There is parking directly outside the apartment, the bus stop is just across the road if you'd like to explore the island that way. There is a bike hire company that will deliver bikes directly to the apartment.

One minute walk from the apartment and you have a butchers, off licence and roll bar, there is also a beach kiosk serving fresh food and Guernsey ice creams etc..

If you don't feel like cooking you could have evening meals in the nearby restaurants.

A gorgeous 5 minute walk along the pathway takes you to Cobo village, this has a supermarket, fish and chip shop, chemist, Drs surgery, petrol station, lovely cafe and the always popular pubs and restaurants just around the corner, you'll be spoilt for choice.

There are pathways that start directly across from the apartment that run parallel to the beaches and are safely away from the road, these costal paths stretch for miles, perfect for walking and cycling.

For the more adventurous you could go kayaking or paddle boarding across at the beach or try surfing lessons or horse riding, this part of the island has everything for everyone.

Summary: Run across the road to the beach? Heaven! But it's not just the location. Stella makes the place welcoming, with a little welcome jug of milk, and patience with our late arrival due to a delayed ferry. Someone was always available to answer any queries. And the little flat was just right for two people, everything we needed. A little walk to the bus, to shops and the beach, perfect! I was sad to go.

Summary: Well situated in Guernsey with car parking and opposite a bus stop so we used the island’s excellent buses to go to St Peter’s Port where parking can be difficult- easy everywhere else! Very comfortable and well equipped flat- delightful bedroom and living room with views to the sunsets in the west from the living room. Kitchen area is quite small and there is no oven which is not a problem but worth knowing about in advance. Good fridge with icebox. The owner is delightful and very helpful and available- we really enjoyed our holiday here.

Summary: Enjoyed our stay here. Quiet, small flat/ apartment with most things you need. Right opposite a bus stop so hardly used the car to get round the island. Great sandy beach opposite to sit/swim/walk. Walk/ climbed out when the tide was out to look in the rock pools. Only a couple of places to eat/ drink locally in the evening which get packed so need to book or else cook in - but there is no oven, which I didn’t realise but didn’t spoil our stay. Great to have use of a washing machine as swam daily and could rinse our clothes. Shame no garden but we sat on the bench at the beach lots. Stella was brilliant and let us arrive early and leave late. Thanks Stella for a great stay.

Summary: A lovely apartment, cleverly designed to make the most of the space and very thoughtfully kitted out. There was nothing we needed to have brought with us as everything we could need was provided - unlike other places where we have stayed. The apartment was beautifully clean. Stella was an excellent host being on hand downstairs and nothing was too much trouble for her. She was waiting for us to arrive despite not knowing out ETA and gave a warm welcome. Welcome pack of essentials (milk, tea bags etc) awaited us inside. The location was fabulous. Could not have been better with great beaches and everything you could need on the doorstep. The best bit was the bus stop opposite the apartment and the incredible bus service on the island. We only used the car twice in the 2 weeks we were there. Even better the weather was also glorious. If we get back to Guernsey then this is where we would always stay.

Summary: For two people it is perfect. Stella lives just downstairs and could not be more helpful. The apartment was spotlessly clean and verfy well stocked with equipment. Nothing was a trouble to her and we had lots of helpful information. The apartment has a lovely view of beaches and the sea. We had no car, but there is ample parking just outside the house and the buses are just across the road. When we return to Guernsey we will certainly stay in Stella's apartment.
