Broaden your beach horizons at this fantastic oceanfront getaway, built high up off the ground to maximize an incredible sea-and-sky panorama. The main level has been updated with a completely remodeled kitchen and bathroom, new flooring and a new atrium to enjoy watching the waves even in the rain!
Ocean House is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home located in a quiet area of south Cannon Beach. Its crowning asset is its sheer proximity to the sand, but the interior also packs a punch: high, vaulted ceilings, floor-to ceiling windows, new carpet and beautiful wood throughout lend an elemental vibe to the home's welcoming open-plan layout.
Gorgeous stained glass, shells and great beach art – including an impressive collection of Cannon Beach Sandcastle Day posters – is on hand throughout.
The small kitchen featuring a bar and great cooking amenities links right up to the living room, where a gas fireplace stands ready to heat the home in a hurry. The din of the nearby ocean and some prime sunset watching beckon you to a cozy seating arrangement. Off to the sides of this main living space are two separate eating areas, one with a formal table and the other a small table tucked into a solarium. The solarium leads to a deck with a new gas barbecue plus outdoor furniture. A full bathroom is also available on this floor.
Upstairs, a loft bedroom with a queen bed and skylight overlooks the main living area. Admire the gorgeous Haystack Rock art, or simply peek out the windows to catch sight of the real thing – this home has fantastic views of Haystack Rock. The upstairs area also offers a bathroom with shower and skylight.
The home's bottom floor comprises a cool, quiet sleeping quarters featuring two simple, clean rooms with queen beds, art prints, and windows overlooking foliage. A washer and dryer are also located on this floor.
Outside, there's room to roam and romp in the large, well-maintained yard. Over a line of shrub and windswept trees, you'll glimpse a quiet, easily accessible section of the beach. Covered parking is also available beneath the home. Pets are welcome, but this rental is not recommended for small children.

Summary: Great location! It’s a true three-bedroom house with great views right on the beach in a cute residential area. Furniture is quite tired as other reviews noted… wish we had brought our own pillows. But very thankful it was pet friendly (they even had a dog treat for when we arrived)!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Cannon Beach! This location is perfect with southern access to avoid some of the more crowded areas near Haystack Rock. The house has great views and a super quick walk to the beach. While the house is well appointed, it needs a deep clean (such as air vents and behind/under beds). Also, the furniture and pillows have been well loved. Overall, a nice stay and transparent check in and checkout process that was efficient.

Summary: The house was exactly as described. We did not use the kitchen but it seemed well stocked. Clean, nice towels. Awkward master bedroom with an open balcony to the living room, but not an issue for us.

Summary: Beautiful house, very dog friendly. Gorgeous views and breathtaking sunsets! TV came on all by itself first afternoon. Fireplace came on and went off by itself one evening. Could use AC. Upstairs bedroom was brutally hot at night. Definitely could use some window shades in living room and dining area.

Summary: The property was nice. It was listed as sleeping 8, but I ended up sharing a bed with my daughter because the sleeping 8 included an air mattress. So I felt like we were short a bedroom. After having a campfire, we were locked out of the house. The deadbolt wasn't moving after entering the code. Property management wasn't answering their after hours line. Lucky for me I sent an e-mail and got a call right before management was going to bed for the night. This is a summer problem, but the house was hot with one working fan. We paid about 1,500 a night. So my expectations were higher in these regards. But we still had a great time, access o the beach and being in Tolovana was great.

Summary: The house and proximity to the beach was everything we had hoped for. It offered privacy and when the sun shined we were busy sculpting sand castles and marveling at the breathtaking views and sounds. The only disappointments were the heating system and the sleeping arrangements.noisy that there weren't the advertised sleeping arrangements for eight people. We were two families with three teens. Three queen size beds and an air mattress were not what we expected. And not to mention the noisy heating system.
