Positive: Location is perfect for folk who like quiet/privacy and can manage the modest walk across the dunes to reach the beach. House is comfortable, well-maintained and kitchen is adequately equipped for cooking moderately complex meals

Positive: The hosts and housekeeping staff is quite personable. It is a beautiful home that is well loved. It doesn’t feel like a rental home at all. The decor is beach savvy and the reclining sofas and fireplace heater are fabulous. The beds are also comfy and the sheets and towels are soft and clean. We loved the fenced in yard for our pups. A large golden and a mini poodle (19 lbs). The fence is completely secure for the small ones which we appreciated greatly. The only dog I see could maybe get through the square fencing would be a mini yorkie or something super tiny. The frogs at night like to sing and it is completely void of all human noise.

Negative: The master bedroom upstairs is wonderful. The only feedback I can give about it, would be the large half circle window. It is beautiful and a nice touch, however I found it nearly impossible to sleep in because it does not have any cover from the sunrise light. It is perfect for folks who love the morning light on their faces. For folks like my self who prefer a dark cave when I awake, would find it challenging.

Positive: Spacious home and property, loved how clean and well staged the house was. Had a lot of amenities and most everything we needed for the kitchen. The fully fenced yard was awesome for our dogs, especially with all the wildlife in the area. Very hot water for showers on cold days. Bedrooms and bathrooms are on separate floors so lots of privacy/quiet while sleeping.

Negative: Really only that we could not use the private trail from the house to the beach, it was flooded in multiple areas and turned into a wetlands, which was great for viewing wildlife but made accessing the beach impossible. It would have been nice to know it is seasonal.

Summary: Our family of 4 plus 3 dogs enjoyed our stay here, we had everything we needed to relax in comfort by the shore.
