Positive: The location was absolutely fabulous - it was one minute from Wat Arun Temple and the ferry across to the Grand Palace.

Negative: The only thing I would change is the pillows - there was only one each and they were very flat.

Positive: The location was perfect for the ferry over the main Temples. The area was more peaceful than over the river and other very busy parts of Bangkok. Owners are very friendly and speak excellent English

Positive: The family who own this hotel are super kind and responsive to messages. The hotel was super clean and very affordable. The location was perfect for checking the Grand Palace, Wat Arun and wat Pho. The river was within walking distance and the quick ferry across was only 5 bht . We are now all addicted the candies the family offered in the lovely 😊

Positive: The room was a comfortable size for 2 of us plus luggage. Air conditioning helped cool off the room for sleeping. The family who owns Arun House was very helpful giving us recommendations for dinner and to access the ferry, a 5 baht short ride across the river to see the reclining Buddha and Royal Palace. It’s also a couple minutes walk from Temple of the Dawn and street market.

Negative: It is an hour drive from the airport. It’s not really a problem but be aware for planning.

Summary: A short 24 hr visit in Bangkok and the perfect place to stay for seeing some iconic sites.
