Positive: Location and outside the back door was a patio, picnic table, bbq grill and the lake just yards away. The room was big and had all the amenities. I’ll be back!

Positive: It was a great location lakeside. Bed was comfortable. Had our basic needs.

Negative: Mostly small things, no conditioner, only had a handful of coffee filters, a pan was unwashed with food on it, needed some upkeep (a piece of wall under bathroom sink was taped and falling off. Unfortunately, we had a group the last day/night that had their music on, were smoking and were loud on porch until about midnight.

Summary: Great place, we had some less then ideal circumstance.

Positive: We loved how close the lake was. Some family members were able to visit us while we were staying there. Great fishing!! Easy access for my kids and father inlaw to get to the water.

Negative: Snakes!! But that's not the places fault. That just lake life.

Summary: My family can't wait to stay there again.

Positive: From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the scenic views of Lake Buchanan. The expansive lake and surrounding nature were absolutely breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for a peaceful weekend. Whether relaxing on the deck or kayaking on the water, the views were incredible. The atmosphere of the Oasis was incredibly quiet and peaceful, offering a true retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and cozy, with all the modern amenities I needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. I also loved the variety of outdoor activities available. I spent most of my time swimming, kayaking, and hiking around the area—everything was right at my doorstep. Lastly, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed and offering helpful suggestions for nearby activities. They really made my stay feel special.

Negative: If I’m being picky, the only downside was the bugs. Since the Oasis is near the water and surrounded by nature, there were a few mosquitoes, and I ended up with a couple of bites. It’s nothing out of the ordinary for a place like this, but definitely something to keep in mind. A little bug spray did the trick, but it’s worth mentioning just in case you’re planning a trip during warmer months.

Negative: No TV in our room when others had one. Could have swore when I booked it said we would have a 4k TV. Also the ants were insane. Keep all food up or in bags. They were in beds and the cabinets.
