Positive: From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the scenic views of Lake Buchanan. The expansive lake and surrounding nature were absolutely breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for a peaceful weekend. Whether relaxing on the deck or kayaking on the water, the views were incredible. The atmosphere of the Oasis was incredibly quiet and peaceful, offering a true retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and cozy, with all the modern amenities I needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. I also loved the variety of outdoor activities available. I spent most of my time swimming, kayaking, and hiking around the area—everything was right at my doorstep. Lastly, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed and offering helpful suggestions for nearby activities. They really made my stay feel special.

Negative: If I’m being picky, the only downside was the bugs. Since the Oasis is near the water and surrounded by nature, there were a few mosquitoes, and I ended up with a couple of bites. It’s nothing out of the ordinary for a place like this, but definitely something to keep in mind. A little bug spray did the trick, but it’s worth mentioning just in case you’re planning a trip during warmer months.

Positive: How close it was to the lake.

Negative: No TV in our room when others had one. Could have swore when I booked it said we would have a 4k TV. Also the ants were insane. Keep all food up or in bags. They were in beds and the cabinets.

Positive: The temperature was in excess of 100 degrees and when I opened the door to the studio, the air conditioning had been turned on in advance and the room was nice and cool. The television was set to a music channel and it presented a very inviting atmosphere. We sat on the covered patio and enjoyed the breeze while overlooking the dry lake. We liked having the equipped kitchen to cook our own breakfast.

Negative: Lake Buchanan was extremely low.

Summary: They key was in the door and the air conditioner had the studio nice and cool.
