Oakenshield Cabin is a warm, rustic, comfortable cabin with all the amenities you need for a quiet retreat in the Adirondack mountains. The cabin is located next to a pond on 617 pristine acres of lush, green forest. You'll have hiking right out your door, and exclusive access to a New York State snowmobile trail, located on the property. Wildlife abounds with song birds, rabbits, and deer. Summary: We were so impressed by Oakenshield cabin! The building was so well done, the cabin is extremely cozy. The kitchen was very well put together, with everything we could want to cook our own meals. The bedrooms were warm and cozy. The hosts were warm, friendly, and extremely accommodating. We loved meeting the animals! Also hearing all about the conservation efforts of Green Man Farm. The grounds were lovely and romantic. We had such an amazing time, and can't wait to be back again in the future.
