Positive: The setting, the location, how great the property owners were! Just how free we felt being up in the hills away from the hustle and bustle of city/town centre life. The outdoor water feature is truly amazing, the chickens, Lucy the dog and the cats my partner was in heaven.

Negative: Loved everything, nothing we didn’t like. I did come home with a few midge bites from being outside but they must like my blood, so more garlic it is for me 😁

Summary: Can’t wait to stay again !

Positive: What a wonderful place this is! Oakenclough Hall is stunning and I immediately felt welcomed and right at home. The hot tub is just amazing, just what you need after a day hiking, and the bed is super comfy! Dawn cooked me a perfect vegan breakfast both mornings too. Will definitely be returning for another visit ASAP!

Positive: Absolutely gorgeous place. Really beautiful building with lots of character. The view is spectacular. Very comfy bed. Hosts aee so welcoming & Dawn is so nice. Felt at ease instantly. Breakfast was amazing. Would definitely return.

Positive: Hosts Dawn and Johnathan were so welcoming and are brilliant people. They took time to make us feel welcome and tell us the history of their beautiful property. They even offered to run us to the local pub. The breakfast was fabulous and the scenery breathtaking. Oakenclough is a very special place.
