Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: It was so quaint and lovely. The service was awesome. I just sent a text and Simao was there to help instantly. The fact that it was away from the town made it very peaceful and relaxing.

Negative: The driveway was challenging after rain.

Summary: I would definitely come back to stay. It was an amazing location to see Evora without having to be in the town.

Positive: The property is brilliant. Secluded tranquil location down a dirt road. We were a multigenerational family group attending a wedding nearby and it was perfect for us all. Very well equipped kitchen that had everything we needed to cater for the 10 of us. Fab pool with pool toys for the children - with solar lighting for night time swimming too. Plenty of shaded outside seating/dining spaces. The rooms were spacious, simply furnished but with everything we needed. Simao, the owner, lives onsite. He is very attentive and responsive (but not at all intrusive). Note that the property is off grid (solar powered, water from a well (so not drinkable) and bottled gas for cooking). We were very attentive to water use given the drought situation. There is a small shop/market about 10 mins drive away and then supermarkets in both Viana do Alentejo (20 mins) and Evora (30 mins).

Summary: Beautiful off-grid, well equipped property in tranquil location in the countryside. We loved it!
