Positive: The hotel was even better than anticipated. The staff is very helpful and friendly and you can literally feel the Swiss hospitality in anything there. The room was also bigger than expected, spacious and enough for us with our kid and is absolutely enough for a family on a short city trip. The bathroom has and glass wall that can be made transparent by pressing a button, obviously something that could much interest by our kid. The rescue way was clean and is in perfect condition, that’s the same with all fire equipment I have seen (something I have an eye on due to professional reasons). On the floor is a water 💧 machine installed, so you can have cold water at any time and refill your bottles, something I do like and appreciate. Breakfast was very nice as well, enough and for all tastes, from sweet to salty. One thing more, with the booking is free transportation with Basel tram included, and the tram is pretty nice and brings you to all downtown spots and museums needed in minutes, very clean and very safe, and you feel really safe in the whole city. Cleaning and maintenance status seems to be suitable, with only minor things that could be fixed. Overall, a very nice place to stay if you plan a visit at Basel.

Negative: As mentioned, only two minor things to make it perfect, one lamp in the room was broken and the toilet brush wasn’t adjusted correctly. But, if that’s the only remarks you can tell that this hotel is in absolute good condition and managed overall very well.

Positive: Close to the station- only a 10min walk Lovely room and very comfortable beds! Free travel pass a definite fab extra which we made use of to tour Basel on the trams! Good gym too!
