Positive: Extremely remote property.. 100+ acres, 4 cabins, private beach, wooded, a night sky FILLED with constellations and shooting stars! If you’re looking for nearly “off grid” getaway- this is the place! There are no tvs, but the cabin did have internet.. the cabin had a beautiful bathroom with an amazing multi-head rain shower. The bed was comfortable enough- although the daybed in the family room was a bit more comfortable. We were only there for 1 night, so we didn’t use the grill or kitchen (the kitchen was fully equipped with cooking utensils and supplies)

Negative: Our cabin had the laundry room that was available for entire grounds. Although we didn’t have an issue, it could be rather uncomfortable or inconvenient to have strangers inside your cabin doing their laundry. Make sure you don’t forget anything you will need- or want- you are 40 min drive from anything!

Positive: It was well-taken care of. It was easy to figure out where stuff was. The cottage was very clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with cutlery and dish ware. It was a lovely stay. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Negative: I didn’t realize how remote it was, but honestly that is part of the appeal. And my not realizing how remote it was, is definitely on me.

Summary: Staff was lovely and the cottage we stayed in was fantastic.

Positive: This property was very remote, so make sure you bring whatever food you want to make. There's a full kitchen. We only stayed one night and only issue we had is that we were given the wrong code for the lock box...it was missing the cabin #. Fortunately another couple was staying there and they helped us figure out the code. Having said that, we did get a call back from manager to make sure we got in. It was a really cute cabin, well appointed and a huge updated bathroom. Very nice cabin.
