Positive: Fantastic hotel, and great hosts. Very welcoming and warm people. We really appreciated the secure storage for our bikes and in fact, they allowed us to park our car in the same space. Rooms were lovely, clean and were newly renovated. The two ladies who welcomed us (Sophia and her Aunt) recommended a typically Portuguese restaurant and Sophia even took us there! Food and wine was amazing. When we got back later in the evening, we were encouraged to try the local ginger wine and port (both delicious). The absolute highlight was breakfast! Much of it was cooked from scratch by Sophia's aunt. With freshly squeezed orange juice to perfect scrambled eggs, we all agreed this was the best breakfast of our trip.

Negative: It was perfect. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.

Summary: Excellent hotel with warm and friendly hosts . Fantastic breakfast. Would stay here again.

Positive: Elvira is amazing! She’s a tiny lady with a huge, kind heart and her husband is equally kind and helpful. Her niece, Sofia, is also a sweetheart. What beautiful people! They set incredible highs standards hospitality, amenities and comfort! Breakfast was fresh, offered a huge selection and was lovingly prepared and served. We will make a plan to return to Caldas da Rainha just to stay there again!!! Thank you. 🙏
