Positive: Really enjoyed sitting by our little hut and enjoying the peaceful nature around the lake, also the host is really lovely and accommodating! Really nice bathroom as well, semi outdoor bamboo toilet and shower, made for a lovely environment!

Positive: The grounds were well kept and tidy. Quiet as were the only guests most of the stay. Unique hut type experience with the luxury of air conditioning. Mopeds easy to rent. A bit more than expected, but easy to rent. One male staff tried to help us a few times when we were confused.

Negative: There are several stuffed “scarecrow” bodies with clown faces, hanging on crosses throughout the property (3 locations). A bit creepy. How and whom to communicate was unclear. We were put in a room with a fan the first night, but had booked an AC room. They changed it the next day when I called it to their attention but didn’t refund the difference for the first night. Caged birds in several parts of property. They seemed attended to, but just sad to see them hoping back and forth from either sides of cage. Not sure of restaurant was open or what the hours were. I did ask for and got breakfast each morning, but was unsure about other meals. There was a menu posted but never saw kitchen staff other than in the mornings. Just confusing.

Summary: Clean place but a ghost town during our stay, scarecrows and all.

Excellent place to recharge and enjoy life. When I come back to Chiang Mai I will only stay here- there simply isn't anywhere better. Highly, highly recommend...

Positive: Lovely place with super welcoming and kind owners. I felt like part of the family. Nice restaurant and bar on site. Good food. Peacefully next to lake. I stayed in the best room with balcony and air conditioning.

Negative: For privacy, curtains or shutters on room windows. Not a problem since it is not overlooked and there is an internal screen that can be used.

Summary: Great place. Want to stay again!

Positive: My stay at this place was truly amazing! The warmth of the people made me feel at home, a heartfelt touch during my solo travels. A standout moment was when, on a chilly morning, the man kindly gave me his jacket for my trip to Chiang Mai. The woman's culinary skills were exceptional, offering delightful meals and a delicious breakfast even for my early departure. The place surpassed my expectations—serene, impeccably clean, and refreshing. The luxurious shower rivalled those in most hotels. It's an excellent retreat, and I'm grateful for the genuine care and comfort provided. I was sad to leave and will definitely come back!
