Positive: Stunning location, friendly staff, comfortable cottage, close to amenities. Loved it!

Negative: Personal preference, mattresses too hard for us but that’s personal preference. Lovely duvets and pillows.

Positive: Beautiful location, it was perfect for what we wanted as a base. As the castle was closed for renovations we had complete peace and quiet. When we booked we were unsure about whether the Interior would be big enough but were very pleasantly surprised by how spacious it felt. We would totally recommend it.

Negative: The track leading to the cottage was full of pot holes but we understand the that is being sorted soon

Positive: all furniture was to the period of the house, excellent quality of all white goods and utensils, the beds were very comfortable and plenty of blankets and extra pillows

Negative: wish there was outdoor table and seats out in the back garden

Summary: absolutely brilliant time! after 6 pm you have the whole castle estate to yourselves
