Positive: ideal location, allocated parking, dog friendly garden.

Negative: Shower although adequate needs updating. Living room night storage heater does not work. For the price paid, kitchen basics such as washing up liquid, salt and pepper, cooking oil should be supplied. Parking space needs cleaning, compacted wet leaves make area muddy and slippy.

Summary: Ideal location for a summer stay, cottage would be cold in winter.

Positive: The location is excellent, only 15 minutes walk away from the town center. While the house is right next to a road, it was surprisingly quiet.

Negative: The house looked a bit different from the photos. The ceiling and some parts of the wall were painted over, losing its old cottage charm that we really liked from the pictures. The house was also very cold. We turned on all the heaters. However, they seemed to be in a setting that we couldn't change. At night- according to our baby watch- the bedroom temperature was only 17 celcious. I tried to call about this issue but couldn't reach anyone. While the house had decent facilities, I was very surprised by the lack of soaps and toilet papers (there was only one soap in the kitchen and 1 roll toilet paper in each room). I would have preferred to be charged an extra 5-10 pounds: and have some soap in the upstairs bathrooms.
