Summary: What a fantastic find! We're always on the look out for places to stay that are not your average run of the mill, cookie cutter, generic hotel experiences, and this lovely old lodge definitely filled all the boxes.

Summary: I called ahead because I would be checking in late. I was given Josh’s phone number and reached out to him to set up a check in time, he was very responsive and kind and was there to show me around at almost 11pm. The room was great, very comfortable bed, big bathroom, and breakfast was great as well.

Summary: It was historic and unique, walking distance to a local tavern. The staff made us a bonfire and joined my grandson and me for an unwinding evening. We were awakened by the sound of the breakfast bell!!! ( our alarm didn’t go off)! There was a fly fishing shop and I want to go back and renew my skills!

Summary: We enjoyed 2 days at this lovely, vintage, lodge. If you like history, antiques, and God's beautiful creation, LOOK no more - THIS is where you want to be. There are 2 very lovely porches to enjoy your book or simply listen to the Au Sable & birds and a few steps down to the river for fishing. Great dining opportunities are close or up to 20 minutes away. We plan to stay here again!!
