Positive: It was almost as if we were close family. Nothing was too much trouble. Taffy was entertaining and was hugely knowledgeable of Malawi.

Negative: Roads not great and Malawi was suffering a critical fuel crisis. Nothing Norman Carr could do about it however.

Summary: Lake stupendous, boat trips fantastic and the most memorable sunsets.
