Positive: The property is located in a cute little town with easy bus access to Manarola, as well as on trails to Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore, etc. The 2 bedrooms are good size and with comfortable beds. The bathroom was clean and well equipped, including extra towels. The kitchen/dining had sufficient utensils, pots, cups, etc. for convenient use. The relatively large fridge, gas stove top, bake oven, etc. can easily accommodate those staying longer. And there was a dishwasher and clothes washing machine as well.

Negative: The main issue we had was communication with the host. It took several e-mails to get the Wi-Fi password, where this should have been addressed either, by info within the apartment, or answered after our first question. To add to the confusion, there was a wrong Wi-Fi password listed within the apartment. A couple of other questions were never answered, so we had to improvise. Such communication issues could be easily fixed/improved with no expenditures but just with little effort/willingness. Other than that, the kitchen is in desperate need of some coffee maker or espresso machine. The ones provided are really old and/or broken and effectively unusable, as there is a risk of burning oneself - this is a safety concern in addition to being inconvenient.
