Positive: Gorgeous location overlooking the sea above Manarola. We chose to stay here because we had a car and it was easy to take the bus down to Manarola. The apartment is well equipped and so peaceful (the apartment above was empty). Super easy access to the hIke from Volastra to Corniglia Great sunrises and sunsets!

Negative: Communication with the host was difficult before arriving because he uses a 3rd party service. We had to change the dates of our booking and it took weeks to resolve. At times I didn't know if I was communicating with the owner, the rental company, or Booking.com. Luckily it was resolved and the host was there when we arrived and very attentive.

Positive: Francesco was an exceptional host who answered all of our questions in a prompt manner. The property overlooks the ocean and is peaceful and fully equipped. The beds are very comfortable! The property is near a shuttle stop that takes you to Manarola where trains are easily accessed. The town of Volastra has two wonderful restaurants and a bodega for groceries.

Positive: Location was fantastic, peaceful, yet so close to a fabulous walk. Fantastic place in the little village where you can pretend to be local for a bit. Bus service makes getting around easy and much better than driving and parking. Would love to come back for longer.

Positive: This apartment is a little piece of Italy that most people are not able to experience. We loved the location,the tranquility, near to a bus stop that takes you to the nearest village, the village shop, 4 restaurants and a great place to relax. Glad it was air-conditioned.

Positive: The view was spectacular and the location was perfect for what we needed to escape busy towns at the end of the day. Host was very helpful and offered great suggestions for local attractions and transport options.

Negative: The fridge was quite noisy.

He checked in on us the first couple days to ensure we had everything we needed. He also went above and beyond to try to find my ring I forgot at the property.

Positive: The view and outdoor area and surroundings is just fantastic! Location is good in between the cities, and easy but steep walk down to Manarola or Corniglia. Apartment was excellent for 2 couples with 2 nice size bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and all facilities needed.

Negative: Nothing! We could not find a wine opener, but sure Francesco will make also this available for the next guests.

Summary: Lovely stay, and Francesco (landlord) met us around 24.00 hrs at the parking place to show us the apartment. Just amazin
