Negative: We went on a winter skiing holiday. I have to say that the resort mostly offers red, steeper slopes – the girls struggled quite a bit and, to be honest, even the guys didn’t really enjoy the runs that much. We’d be happy to come back in summer, but for winter skiing we’ll have to choose a different destination.

Positive: Lara and Norbert were super friendly and helpful when I had issues with transport. This really made my stay possible and significantly better than it would have otherwise been. Great location for walking trails very close by and the cottage is in a peaceful surrounding. Everything kept clean and tidy and the washing machine is very handy. Wifi was very good and I had stable internet connection for a video call meeting. Can recommend the walks Brunnach Berglauf (which goes up to the lift station and then cuts through the grazing pastures back through the forest) and Rote Burg Runde (along the ridge at the top near the station) which can be combined.

Negative: Note that there is no shared kitchen access if you stay in the budget single room. There is only one bathroom for the shared rooms and sometimes you have to wait for many people. The bathroom is very very small. Room was very very small so it may be hard to find a place to open your bags.
