Positive: Stunning period property, beautifully furnished and decorated. The rooms were stunning and huge. The toilet was massive with the best overhead shower. Felt like I was under a waterfall. The staff were fantastic and very helpful.

Positive: Superb locatiin inside the galle fort area. Rooms maintain the old world charm with a modern feel. Staff and host are very helpful. Amazing breakfast at peddlers inn included by the property. Highly recommended.

Positive: We had a fantastic stay at No.50, the location is ideal, right in the centre of the Galle fort. The property itself has a unique historical charm, the rooms are super spacious. As its set well back from cobbled streets there's no noise at all. Dhilani and the team were excellent and made our stay such a pleasure. We will definitely be back

Positive: A Cozy Little Escape at No.50 Lighthouse Street I stayed at No.50 Lighthouse Street in Galle for just one night, but it honestly felt like a little getaway of its own. The moment I walked in, I loved the charm of the place ,it has this beautiful colonial vibe mixed with a cozy, homely atmosphere. The room was spotless and tastefully decorated, with just the right balance of comfort and character. After a long day of exploring Galle Fort, coming back to such a calm and inviting space felt perfect. The staff were so warm and friendly, always ready to help with a smile, which made the stay even better. What I loved most was the location, tucked right inside the Fort, it was so easy to wander around, grab a coffee, and take in the history and charm of the area. Even though it was just one night, it was the kind of place that makes you want to come back and stay longer. If you’re planning a visit to Galle and want somewhere with character, comfort, and a personal touch, I’d definitely recommend No.50 Lighthouse Street.
