Positive: The house was clean its under a supermarket and the beach is really close. The house has lots of appliances and kitchen stuff. It misses a cutting board but thats fine. The bathrooms were clean and the shower as well its a small pretty house but all in all the house was fine. Not many parking spaces only if you are lucky to find around the house.

Negative: The host was very cautious with us he didn't let us leave until he had checked the house and made sure that everything is there and everything is okay. I ve booked lots of places through booking but this has never happened to me before and it was a little weird for us because we are foreigners but i speak greek and i felt that he was cautious of us because my family were foreigners but another than that everything was great.

Positive: The living area was nicely decorated. It was nice and clean. It was nice and secluded. The wine, biscuits and the flowers were very nice to find.

Negative: I’m afraid that when we entered the property it had a really bad damp smell on the ground floor which we realised was caused by the shower leaking when we used it the reason being it had at least an a 1/2 inch gap under the door with with no seal. The mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable seemed like it was really old. The bedroom had a very musky smell which left a smell on our clothes. We came home early due to the mattress and the musky damp smell Overall if the shower and the musky smell and mattress were sorted we would definitely give it another go.

Summary: Lovely area to stay and plenty to do but the damp, musky smell plus the leaking shower put us of staying for the second

Positive: Kitchen was well equipped including scales, measuring jug etc. Mostly clean. Enough space. Parking available outside and Colyton is a pretty village. Good shower although it did leak a bit at the hose connection.

Negative: Poor head room in kitchen, bumped head multiple times. Mattress basic. Downstairs smells and feels damp - even on hot days in August. Washing machine leaked. Area beside washing machine by shower was dusty and dirty. Exterior poorly maintained with peeling paint.

Summary: Expected better quality for the price.
