Positive: The host, Evelyn, was extremely helpful and offered to pick us up for free from the port of the village. She also offered us a coffee machine which was very kind. The room was spacious enough and it had a nice balcony. We also loved place itself, relatively quiet and not filled with tourists.

Positive: Evelyn, the owner and manager of Artemis rooms, is very friendly, considerate and available by phone and texting if you need anything. She even picked me up at the ferry port when I arrived in early September when Storm Daniel hit Greece causing flooding. The spacious Turquoise room was beautifully decorated with local artwork, a full-size bed, dresser and bed stands, a mini refrigerator, toaster, coffee/tea pot, plates, glasses, mugs and utensils. The location near Agia Marina beach is about 5 minutes walk. The charming town has restaurants, mini mart, bakery, artist gallery, etc.

Negative: The sandy street near the property got muddy during the storm and a wooden board was placed on the road to the entrance. This was due to the storm.

Positive: The peace and quiet of a mall town with a nice town and nice restaurants and a good beach. My host was excellent and even gave me a ride to the ferry terminal. Good bus to get around island and the temple was n walking distance

Negative: Unfortunately, the view from my room was a derilecy cement building frame. The pluses outweigh the minuses.
