Positive: Location, staff, restaurant, near beach

Negative: Nothing, apart from not much kitchenware, I.e plates and pans. Workspace very small, had to use dressing table to prepare food. Plus no toaster.

Summary: It was a great place and would stay again but in a one bedroom apartment rather than studio apartment

Positive: When we arrived after midnight due to a flight diversion, Nikkos was still there waiting for us, so we knew we were in the right place. Being the first week in October it was quiet, which was perfect for us. We had the pool to ourselves, a 10 minute stroll to the beach where there was always a sunbed and a friendly neighbour who always waved when we were on the balcony. if you're expecting super luxury you're in the wrong place, but if you're looking for a simple, clean, friendly, family run enterprise where nothing is too much trouble, you're looking at the right place. You can choose to self cater, but why would you? The taverna serves the best food we had. The Greek yoghurt and honey for breakfast is outstanding and the baklava will satisfy the sweetest tooth. And, as it was busy enough off season, you'd probably have to book a table in the summer but be assured that the staff will look after you. The bus stop for Corfu Town is close by and from there you can get anywhere on the island using the cheap, reliable public transport. Nikkos and his family are warm, friendly people who speak good English and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable to the extent that he stayed up late so that we could watch the England v Greece football match, which we lost anyway, so at least he went to bed happy. Go there!

Negative: Tourist tax 10€/5 nights collected at departure, even if the booking mentioned that already was paid the 1,5€/n enviroment/climate tax and 0,5% city tax.

Positive: Nice apartment, cleaning every two days, friendly staff, nice pool and close to the beach, restaurants and shops.

Negative: The backyard behind the apartment could be taken cared of a bit more but not a big issue.

Positive: * Great location * quiet complex with plenty of sun loungers * lava taverna lovely food * Great air con in bedrooms * Great housekeeping, so clean and fresh towels daily * pool bar/snacks available as Nikki’s seems to be Co shared with Zorbas. * very good value for the amount we paid

Negative: * would have liked more input from owners to check in on our stay, didn’t find them friendly at all as too busy with their restaurant. * no little touches such as some cold water in fridge on arrival etc like in mayflower apartments. * swimming pool was not clean compared to the apartments we stayed in at the beginning of our holiday. The children’s pool especially looked dirty. * not enough parasols * I read that a discount is available to guests in lava taverna. This wasn’t available when I asked so we didn’t eat there again. Felt it was false advertising * welcome drinks advertised on kitchen cupboard, again nothing materialised. * the area surrounding our apartment was dirty and rubbish around. Again, advert implied we would be around the pool but we weren’t. * nowhere to shower after early checkout with late flight.

Positive: Early check in, little kitchen and fridge to store things. The Owners son was super nice!

Negative: The WiFi is not as good as we thought so if you plan on doing some work etc, get yourself an unlimited plan.

Positive: Clean & basic studio but had everything we needed. Regular cleaning & towel change. Lovely pool, short walk to beach. Best part of stay was hosts Nikki & Takis, Lava Taverna, just outside the apartments, the most amazing food & drinks from the moment we arrived, until we left. Thankyou both & your family for a lovely stay in Moraitika.

Positive: The location is good but the beach 400m away was really small and filled with sunbed rent, we didnt go there cause we had a rental car and drove to the left coast which was sandy and not rocky. The apartment were huge, the beds comfy and it had a big pool who was almost always free. The price really matches the result, the wifi also isnt perfect but not bad.

Negative: The cleanin shouldve been "every second day" but we stayed for a week and only got cleaned 1 time otherwise than that really good apartments for people with children, really meets the price. Overall id say a solid 8.5/10 liked the stay there.
