Fantastic mountain view in a private detached Mediterranean house with a generous turn (approx. 800m2) in the picturesque village of Carona, 597m above sea level, in the sunny hills above Lugano.

This Mediterranean but lovingly kept house, nestled in a beautiful private garden in a quiet location, offers 2 spacious bedrooms with two double beds and a single bed (can accommodate 5 people), bath / shower / toilet, guest toilet, living / dining room with Fireplace, lockable kitchen with fridge / freezer, stove and oven, covered terrace with table / chairs and children's swing, open granite stone table where you can end the evening comfortably and enjoy the fantastic mountain view.
The house has a covered parking space (max. 2 cars can be parked), satellite TV, radio. The whole area is non-smoking. Wifi available.
If necessary, there is also a cot and changing table incl. Storage space and various children's toys (indoor and outdoor) available.

Summary: Amazing, quit and relaxing casa. On top of that with an incredible view over the mountains and the lake. People in Carona was really nice, gentle and helpful. It’s a perfect stay for a family with kids. Our kids loves it and did spend a lot of time with the available toys inside and outside There is a great public swimming pool near by that the kids loved really much. The communication with Marco was really perfect and Marco prioritized our questions with quick response every time. We would definitely come back. Bs Ahmad Fendy and family

Summary: Corona is a charming village high in the mountains outside Lugano. We loved our stay in this spacious and comfortable house. It has a spectacular view of the mountains and Lake Lugano. The village has a charming church, shops, many ancient houses, a few hotels, and a large swimming pool open to the public. Nearby are hiking trails in all directions. It is perfect for a family vacation.

Summary: Fantastic accommodation for our family. Spacious, comfortable, warm and functional. Suitable for kids. Nice walks and nature not far from Carona. Convenient bus taking you to Lugano in 20min. Parking spot. Nice garden! Owners were very kind and attentive. Overall great experience!

Summary: We spent 5 enjoyable days in a beautiful village of Carona. The Parco San Grato is definitely worth a visit (there is also a nice playground). We felt like at home - the house is very comfortable and you find there everything you need, especially if you have children. Our 2-year-old son loved the house and the garden and did not want to leave :) The hosts re accomodating and helpful. I would come back again.
