Positive: Location was great as it was so close to the station, we based ourselves for 5 nights so that we could take the train to Bologna and Venice in particular (and we travelled from Milan). It was also walking distance to the centre, with lots of shopping an restaurants along the way. Staff were very helpful, making a booking at a restaurant for us to celebrate our 25th anniversary.
Negative: No air con :-( .. it was unseasonally warm, I should have asked for a fan. But having a balcony helped a bit.
