Positive: This was our 5th trip to maldives . Unfortunately, for this one , overall experience was not as expected. Positive: The staff is very nice and friendly. Very beautiful reef full of marine life . Nice scooba diving experience. Maybe the only one worth doing activity in the resort. The food is nice . Negative: Water villas are old . TV is not working, and there is no wifi. At night, the balcony becomes full of cockroaches. The main restaurant is far from water villas, and there is no means of transportation ( golf car , bicycle) . There are a lot of flies around the salad buffet . Other restaurants are not included in the package and are chargeable. Unlike many other resorts in maldives, snorkeling equipment is not free . We had a bad experience with canoe rental . After 5 min of use , we asked to change one of the canoes .They refused and wanted to charge us an extra one. Not very professional.

Positive: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the resort on the island in the Maldives. One of the aspects we appreciated most was the high standard of cleanliness throughout the property. Our room was exceptionally comfortable and well-appointed, providing a quiet and peaceful environment that allowed for complete relaxation. The dining experience was overall very good, although there is some room for improvement in terms of variety and refinement. That said, the service provided by the staff was truly outstanding. They were consistently professional, courteous, and attentive. We did not encounter a single issue during our stay — their dedication and hospitality were genuinely commendable.

Negative: What could be improved: Although the overall food quality was good and the meals were generally fresh and well-organized, we believe there is room for improvement. The variety of dishes could be greater to enhance the overall dining experience. Additionally, the quality of certain vegetables — especially cucumbers and tomatoes — did not meet the expected standard and should be improved.

Positive: My overall impressions of Reethi Beach Resort are very good. The place is wonderful, the nature is beautiful, it is very clean and well-groomed. The staff is very kind and smiling. Most visitors are elderly, calm people. Regarding the food - there is a great variety, everything is fresh. The food is quite influenced by Indian cuisine and is specific. There are fresh fruits and juices. I give a lower rating for the food because I have gastritis and Indian cuisine is too spicy and hot for people like me. There should be more European food. The restaurant opens exactly at the described hours. They clean the room every day and change the towels. I have a few comments about the hotel. We had paid full board, not all inclusive, and we had to pay for water at lunch and dinner, which is $3. I think this should be saved. I was offended by buying a piece of jewelry in the souvenir shop on the island. There was a sign that the necklace was made of silver, as the seller confirmed. I bought the necklace for $70, but an airport employee pointed out to me that it was not silver, there was no 925 stamp and it was just an imitation. You can check that there is such a sign in the shop, and the jewelry is not silver, due to the high price. My other remark is related to the too early check out. Instead of 12:00 as is the usual practice in hotels, the staff took our luggage at 10:15 and we left for the airport at 11:15. Considering that the airport in Dharavandhoo is very small, waiting 2 hours is unnecessary. They should also have given us 1 small bottle of water for the journey, after all the temperature is over 30 degrees. For this high price per night I think that tourists should not be skimping on water!

Positive: I would like to mention that this hotel has a wonderful team who makes you feel special all the time. They are really excellent professionals and very nice people. I cannot mention all but special gratitude to the service received by Chef Binara Anarul, Dammi, Farish Mukhthar, Majid and Faloo. The beach is fantastic and the reef is very good to see many different type of fishes, reef sharks, eagle mantas, turtles sometimes... If you like diving, the The Fanatic Ocean Diving Center lead by Barney works very well. They are very flexible and have 2 o 3 dives a day which is great if you have the budget to do so everyday during a week. The Ladies managing the Spa Center are also wonderful. I really recommend the Balinese Massage (1hour and 10 minutes) for 126 USD. You also have a good gym, 2 tennis courts, swimming pool...

Negative: Maybe it would be great to have included the Wifi... at the end we are taking about a high standard type of experience. It is not so good to pay extra for your own router to have internet in your room for example. However, it is compensated somehow as there are common areas where you can use internet for free. At night, they could also increase the offer to be amused after dinner. I missed more alternatives from 20.30 to 23.30 or so.

Positive: The resort is a absolute gem. It is situated on a small Island covered in lush vegetation which is very welcome in the hot and humid climate. The resort was kept spotless clean at all times. The resorts bars and restaurants are very nice with a wide variety of choice for all tastes. The staff in general are very professional and helpful, with a special mention of Faloo at the main bar with his friendliness, jokes and a good communicator.

Negative: The sunrise villa's are vey nice tucked away under lush vegetation, but are very dark inside due to the dark ceiling and hardwood floors. The floors could be very dangerous and slippery, specially with wet feed. There is a step between the lounge and the bedroom section which is very dangerous even with the small floor light on. My suggestion would be to stick a small fluoressant strip which will help a lot. The price of the sea plane from Male to the resort is exorbitant. The 12 hour flight from South Africa cost 702 US$ and the 20 minute sea plane trip to the resort cost 490 US$. The price is fixed by the resort and cannot be booked directly with the seaplane company. A German tourist mentioned she paid US$ 192 booked trough her travel agent.

Positive: The food and variety at the main restaurant were exceptional as was service at the bar and Reception. The room service was very good and Shakir was very friendly and informative-also good at maintenance.

Negative: Toilet seat was not the correct size and the cover fell off. The towel rail came away from the wall-promptly fixed by Shakir. The general condition of the villa left the impression that it was tired and in need of a complete overhaul. We felt that the Sunset Beach BBQ could have been held earlier and the food was not up to the standard of the main restaurant-we felt that due to this, it was over priced.

Summary: Restful,peaceful and enjoyable-staff were extremely helpful and friendly and did the resort proud.

Positive: I recently had the most incredible stay at Reethi Beach Resort and I can't wait to share my amazing experience! From start to finish, everything was just perfect. Firstly, the room was exceptionally comfortable with a cozy bed and beautiful décor. The hotel's amenities were outstanding; the spa was a tranquil oasis and they also had a gift shop. What truly made my stay unforgettable were the local trips organized by the hotel. I went snorkeling and got to see dolphins up close—it was really magical. Plus, the hotel is located right next to a nice coral reef, which made exploring the underwater world incredibly convenient and breathtaking. The staff was exceptional. They were incredibly kind and always responded promptly to any requests I had. Every morning and evening, they delivered complimentary bottles of water to my room, which was a thoughtful touch. To top it all off, the hotel surprised us with a special barbecue dinner one evening—an absolute highlight of the trip! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was delicious. (Try out the lamb and the sea food). During my stay, I made a new friend named Faloo, who works at the hotel. Faloo not only offered us a great service every day, but also shared fascinating insights about the local environment and culture.
