Summary: Our family of seven (yes, five kids!) had the most unforgettable vacation at this beautiful rental in Spirit Lake. This was our first time visiting the area, and we were absolutely blown away! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the most breathtaking view from the balcony — peaceful, panoramic scenery that instantly made us feel relaxed and at home. The house itself was perfect for our large family. With plenty of comfortable sleeping spaces and a spacious open floor plan, we had room to spread out, relax, and enjoy time together. The huge collection of board games was a big hit with our kids — many laughs and late-night game sessions happened around the cozy living room. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook, and we loved gathering around the table for meals. One evening, we even dined out on the balcony and watched the sunset while we ate — truly magical. One of the best parts was the location. We wanted to spend a day at Silverwood Theme Park, and we were thrilled with how close it was — no long car rides with restless kids! We also appreciated the nearby market for picking up groceries and snacks. A highlight for all of us was spending a lazy afternoon on the dock. Summary: We enjoyed our stay & most things in the home were lovely. I will say that the photos are somewhat misleading. It is a bit of a hike to the water & there is no beach. There are many homes surrounding the property which I could not tell from the photos. It is a great space for a large family & the house had everything we needed.

Summary: Family had gathered for a memorial service. Newly renovated, great decor, set up for young family with children not a bunch of older adults. Bunk beds for children. ,Very disappointed in this property for us. Not a property for anyone with disabilities of any kind. The stairs were unattainable for some. Used oven to make pizza and when setting timer with finger the control panel unattached itself, so unplugged stove. Access to beach, water or dock was unattainable by all but a few in our group.
