Positive: It still has its new look, clean and comfortable and everything worked, the area was very quiet. The hot tub was a nice bonus. The owners where very nice and helpful, couldn’t do enough for us 😊😊😊

Negative: The path down to the property was a little narrow .

Positive: This property is absolutely stunning. It is in a quiet and private location with a road that has very low traffic, I think we only saw 3 cars come down the road the entire week. The rooms are decorated to a high standard and the entire house was exceptionally clean. Added bonus of having a dishwasher and a washing machine means I could wash all the kids clothes before going home. This makes for a stress free departure. The kitchen was well equipped for us go cook full family meals a couple of nights. Plenty of places to eat around the area and we enjoyed some proper pub food. The hot tub is a fantastic added bonus and we were able to spend many evenings relaxing after a busy day out exploring. We were about 20/30 mins away from many attractions and enjoyed the Welsh mountain zoo, gypsy wood (about an hour away) and the seaside town of Rhyl. We spent one night watching the sun set over the field across the road and it was magical. The hosts rang me on arrival to ask if everything was ok and to let me know if we needed anything, however we didn’t need a thing! They also left us a welcome pack with goodies and champagne. This was a really nice touch and you can really tell the pride the hosts take in this property and the vision they had when restoring the barn really shines through. I would recommend this house to anyway looking to book a Welsh escape away! You won’t be disappointed!

Negative: There was nothing we didn't like. We just have a couple of recommendations such could maybe add a dimmer for living room lights as were very bright at night. This is just personal preference but with the sofa being far away from the tv, we found ourselves squinting.

Positive: This house was simply perfect for our weekend. We arrived to amazing levels of cleanliness throughout the property, plenty of space both indoors and outside as well as a couple of snacks from the host which was really thoughtful. There was not a single thing that we needed which was not in the property, e.g clothes hanger, towels, robes and kitchen was extremely well equipped. The hot tub was a real treat for us, it was up to temperature when we arrived and the outdoor lighting made it feel extremely cosy. The location is great too, a little away from the main road but still only 15 minutes to the closest shop. Suzy was a wonderful host and she was on hand to help us wherever she could and was very friendly ahead of the trip as well as throughout our stay. Overall, we had an amazing weekend and would certainly look to revisit in the future!

Negative: Nothing! Everything went beyond our expectations.

Positive: The property has been beautifully renovated, featuring a spacious yet cozy living/dining room with a fireplace. It offers sizable bedrooms, complete with towels and bathrobes, and ample storage space. The bathroom is a well-sized 3-in-1. The outdoor area, with seating, a BBQ, and a jacuzzi, is delightful. It's near Moel Famau, ideal for hiking, and includes free parking for two cars. All necessary shops are within a 15-minute drive, making the location convenient.

Negative: I appreciated everything about the property except for one incident on Saturday night. After midnight, we unexpectedly lost hot water, resulting in a freezing cold shower. This made it difficult to wash properly after using the jacuzzi, but it was too late to disturb the hosts. By the next morning, the hot water was functioning normally, leaving us unable to determine the cause of the issue that night.
