Situated in the ideal location, 1611 Sea Dunes is just a few steps to the beach. Literally walk right out to the shoreline from the private back patio and enjoy the stunning sunrises, dolphin sightings, and warm, ocean breezes while digging your toes into the sand. The refreshing, newly-renovated community pool is a short two-minute walk away, and guests can access the private tennis courts for an invigorating match with family or friends.
Always attentive to guests' needs, our team has stocked this beautiful Amelia Island condo with everything required for a wonderful stay, including starter supplies and towels for the pool and beach. 1611 Sea Dunes truly is the whole package, both inside and out!
Within the Amelia Island Plantation (AIP), guests can enjoy miles of walking and biking trails that weave across the sprawling 1,340-acre gated community. The community is surrounded by maritime forests, tidal salt marshes and pristine, sandy beaches.

Note that dogs must be current on all vaccinations, be house broken, be spayed or neutered, and must be sociable with people and other dogs. No cats or other pets will be considered.

Summary: My husband and I spent 3 days enjoying this perfectly appointed condo and were pleased to have no surprises! Everything was represented correctly and instructions were clear and easy. We traveled with our dog so we loved the ground floor location with the beautiful lawn, beach, and convenient walking trails. The unit is decorated attractively and supplied with everything you need to be comfortable and enjoy your time there. We will definitely be back!

Summary: This condo is totally gorgeous, very well appointed and decorated, and it’s in really great shape. It does not feel either like a rental or one that takes dogs. The Omni Amelia Island plantation is a great family friendly location yet also near lots of stuff. The beach is pristine and uncrowded. Small but fun aside: the pool is larger and much more fun than the other buildings which was great for kids. Destination Amelia rentals is easy and super responsive, if needed. You cannot go wrong staying here. My family of 3 (includes a 7 year old boy) had a very hard time leaving and look forward to many returns!

Summary: The unit has the cutest decor ever! It was spotless. It has a partial view of the ocean and is just a short walk to the beach. We loved the walking trails. Location is gorgeous with large trees and Spanish moss. Amazing restaurants. It rained every day and we didn’t even care because the condo was so wonderful. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Summary: Ground floor, which was great with the dogs and older people! This unit is steps to the beach and pool. Very clean and had everything we needed and more! Felt comfortable and safe. Grounds were very well kept. Make sure to ask about the shuttle and gate code to the pool that you will need. Hard to find good restaurants at the resort. Don’t even try to use your GPS. It will lead you all over the place. Take the shuttle as parking is very limited at the resort. The restaurants on the resort were over priced the food was mediocre at best. Found much better food off the resort at local places. Would defiantly recommend this property. Make sure you bring a flashlight for walking after dark.
