Summary: Our group spends Memorial Day together each year. The house was in a great location that was convenient to shopping and restaurants. The layout of the house was perfect for our group. The kitchen could use a wine opener and a good sharp knife. The deck and dock were excellent. That was the good. The house was not ready for warm weather. The deck furniture was dirty, and not just with pollen. There were thick spider webs and bird poop. The cushions were in a box on the deck that had a large ant nest in it. They were covered with ants, dust, and other debris. We cleaned out there for about a half hour in order to be able to use it. The chairs on the dock also had to be cleaned in order to be used. That was another 20 minutes of cleaning. The kitchen had significant evidence of mice presence (pantry, lower cabinets, stove drawer). The water was doing a strange pulsating thing, and twice it went off entirely for about 30 minutes the first time and 15 minutes the second. Property manager sent someone to check it, but “there is nothing we could do on the weekend.”

Summary: House is laid out nicely with 5 bedrooms, and plenty of living area (including upstairs bonus room). It rained every day so we didn't get to enjoy the dock much, but the Shuffleboard table was a hit! Owner was responsive and easy to work with.

Summary: Wonderful house for great trip! House cozy comfortable and plenty of space. Location off the lake private and serene. Not far from a few good places to eat. Definitely a quiet lake area which was nice and our first time at Lake Gaston

Summary: It was a great time. The only recomendation was an easier spot to park a boat trailer. Kids had a great time everybody enjoyed the stay. Would stay here again.

Summary: Very nice property and quiet. No complaints whatsoever and if you rent a pontoon like we did, it’s easy access to tie up to the boathouse. Very easy walk to and from the boathouse unlike some other places on the lake. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: We arrived at the house around 8pm so it was dark and the electronic lock was dead (it happens)…called the property manager and he helped us locate the spare key (difficult in the dark but not impossible)…finally got in the house. The house was very clean and well taken care of. We turned the heat on when we arrived because it was 55 degrees in the house. After about an hour and half we realized the heat isn’t working downstairs. Reached out to the property manager and he sent out the maintenance guys who tried everything to get it working but apparently a transformer blew in the unit and no one could come out til the next morning. He recommended turning on the oven to knock the chill off before we went to bed. Next morning the property manager came out to change batteries in the electronic lock and pull the kayaks outs of us and the HVAC guy came and fixed the issue 🙌 After that we had zero issues. The house is beautiful and in a great place. Beautiful dock area with 2 kayaks to use, so I got to go on the kayak for the first time! So much fun. The area is quiet and peaceful which is what we wanted. The table with the gas fire is perfect for s’mores :) All in all this is a great place and we would totally stay again.
