Summary: Our family fell in love at first sight with this beautiful, modern, well-decorated home on the lake near Queenstown, nestled amongst the mountains. There are floor-to-ceiling glass windows with unobstructed views of the snowcapped mountains, where we watched the sunrise every morning. The kitchen is modern and stocked with every convenience. We enjoyed a real wood-burning fireplace during the chilly nights. We sat outside to stargaze and couldn't believe how many brilliant stars we could see. There is a library with thoughtful, curated books. The beds were comfortable, with soft linens that helped us with our jetlag. Spacious closets were available so we could fully unpack. The bathrooms had lovely features like heated towel bars, a soaking tub, and spacious showers. The decor was impeccable - beautiful artwork, cozy blankets, lovely and comfortable furniture. It was like spending a week in our dream home! On top of that, Kaye - the owner, is a lovely and thoughtful individual, who made time to stop by and meet us, provided wine, nibbles, and chocolates, and made us feel so welcome in her beautiful home! Kaye provided wonderful recommendations for our stay ahead of time, and we made reservations ahead of our travel. This home has access to amazing walking trails and is also less than a 10-minute walk to the Hilton, where you can catch the ferry into Queenstown. We would love to come back and stay at this amazing home again! Book now - you will be grateful you did!

Summary: My husband and I spent 4 weeks in this devine house in February, it was so lovely, every comfort has been thought of, even comfy ottomans to put your weary legs on after a strenuous days activities. the house is exactly as described in a very quiet location, you can hear the ducks from the lake below. We often caught the water taxi from the Hilton Hotel into Queenstown which only took less than 10 minutes to walk to from the house. This house would be ideal in the colder months as it catches every scrap of sun from the east north and west, we had to put the air conditioner on on some days as it was so warm inside. We did have friends share for part of the month and the house accommodated us all easily, I think having the two sittings rooms allowed everyone to have their own private place if needed. We are definitely staying again next year.

Summary: We had a lovely few days with friends staying at this property. It was so warm and sunny we didn't want to leave but we tore ourselves away from the stunning views and walked along the lakeside track to Jacks Point for lunch. We played golf just 10 minutes away on the spectacular Kelvin Heights golf course. We even took the ferry from the Hilton across to the town for dinner - such fun! And of course skiing is right on your doorstep at the nearby Remarkables ski field. The amenities at this house are amazing - it is just like being at home but better! We finished off each day with a long soak in the spa pool. I would highly recommend this property for families or groups.
